As TSB is slowly growing, more and more people join the community. Sometimes it’s nice to know and learn a bit more about the people behind the community, the people making it all possible as well as to hear from it’s members, the people that make up the community. We thought it would be nice to spotlight a member of the community every week to get to know them. This week is the twenty-fifth in the series with someone called Maniac646 or Maniac who lives up to his name within TSB.
So, who is Maniac646?
“I am Maniac646 the Insane one, the anointed one, the founder of Tabletop (within TSB).
I manage tabletop within TSB together with Slade and Can of Toast (for now!).”
What is your job in TSB?
“I am the Senior staff member for Tabletop and community moderator on TS, discord and the forums.”
What makes you happy?
“Seeing people suffer especially Ratking15 and Slade.”
What is your #1 song on your playlist?
“Kent – Columbus
Kent is great Swedish band that don’t pander to English speakers and their songs are pure poetry if you understand Swedish.”
What is your all-time favorite game at this point in time? and why?
“Company of Heroes Games Series as over the course of the 2 main games I think I have sunk up to 5000 game hours in to it.”
How long have you been a gamer? And how long have you been in TSB?
“Since 1994 starting with Sonic the Hedgehog 1/2 in my SEGA Genesis. The first PC game I played was C&C Red Alert 95.
I have been in TSB since 29th of December 2017.”
What got you started in Gaming? And why did you join TSB?
“My parents and uncle got me started when I was 4 by hooking our old TV to one of those 80s split screen racing games and I haven’t looked back since after my parents got our SEGA Genesis.
I joined TSB to find a bigger Arma Community and like many I found it through Liru the Lance-Corporal.”
What do you consider your greatest gaming moment/achievement? and in TSB? Can you tell us a bit about it?
“The Best moment for me in TSB was when I introduced Bom-Stick Jim in one of my Only war Sessions.”
What was your biggest gaming blunder? and in TSB?
“Allowing players the get what they request without working for it.”
If you were one of the Council in TSB, what would you change, and why?
“Make every Friday Taco Friday and burn the Heretics who believe otherwise.”
What has been some of the best moments you’ve had?
“Joining this community and finding similar minded people that like Tabletop games.”
What do you typically use to game?
“Mouse and keyboard like any believer of the PC master race.”
If you were to describe TSB in as few words as possible, what would they be? (10 words max!)
“*Warning* You are entering the TSB insane Asylum.*Warning*”
Favorite food and/or drink?
“Plankstek and of course pancakes/waffles.
My favorite drink is either alcoholic or non-alcoholic cider.”
If you were to pick the next interview to be published, who would it be, and why?
“Reno Sonosaki because someone needs to study that him.”
What would you ask this person you want interviewed?
“Why can’t you be normal like all the other children!!!?”
