As TSB is slowly growing, more and more people join the community. Sometimes it’s nice to know and learn a bit more about the people behind the community, the people making it all possible as well as to hear from it’s members, the people that make up the community. We thought it would be nice to spotlight a member of the community every week to get to know them. This week is the third of the series with our newest council member Sniperwolf52.

So, who is Sniperwolf52?

“I’m a gamer who just wants to have fun, just like you guys! I’m from the US, Texas to be specific. I’m a veteran of the armed forces, I’ve been gaming for a long time, but I prefer to have things as realistic as possible without the fubar as actual milsim, you know?”

What is your job in TSB?

“I’m one of the operation runners and trainers for the Arma 3 community. I’m also a new JCS (Kind of Super-admin), which isn’t going to change anything how I operate here.”

What makes you happy?

“When things go accordingly. I’m not asking for perfection, but I do really enjoy when something we’ve taught you is put into practice effectively. I’m not a fantastic teacher but seeing you guy’s eyes light up when you realize you did something good is good enough for me!”

What is your #1 song on your playlist?

“I don’t really have a number one song. I listen to whatever my mood fits at the moment, whether it be electronic, rock, country, whatever.”

What is your all-time favorite game at this point in time? and why?

“My all time favorite game would honestly have to be S.T.A.L.K.E.R., anything in that series. It’s got a great story to it and the modding community is top notch at providing extensions or even complete reworks of the game.”

How long have you been a gamer? And how long have you been in TSB?

“I’ve been gaming since…I was a kid, I guess. PC gaming started probably around 13, 14? I don’t remember. But Yeah, I’ve been gaming for a long time now. I do prefer PC over console, if only for the utility and moddability. I’ve been in TSB for a year or so now?”

What got you started in Gaming? And why did you join TSB?

“I started gaming on a SNES, back in the 90s. I remember my grandma had one at her house, and that was the shit. It progressed from there to my first PlayStation and stuff like that up to now. I joined TSB with the rest of the Arma nerds, hoping to find a place for our little niche community and I think we’ve found it.”

What do you consider your greatest gaming moment/achievement? and in TSB? Can you tell us a bit about it?

“Ha, greatest most memorable moment in gaming. Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front. There is a mission early in the campaign where you have to recon the White Base, that shit was hard as fuck for me for some reason. I tried to beat it like 30 times, couldn’t do it. I remember it being super hard because any of the enemies could one-shot you, Guntank, Gundam and the other dude with the cannon shoulders. I just remember beating it and being super ecstatic.’

What was your biggest gaming blunder? and in TSB?

‘Honestly don’t remember any big gaming blunders, there have been a few oopsies, but nothing too serious. I’d honestly say before I took a break, I was kind of just goofing off in ops and I felt bad about that.”

If you were one of the JCS in TSB, what would you change, and why?

“Well, seeing as I AM a JCS, I’m honestly not going to change anything. It works pretty well as is. We could use a bit more variety in the group play of games, but otherwise at the end of the day a community is just where people congregate to have fun.”

What has been some of the best moments you’ve had?

“Best moments? No comment.”

What do you typically use to game?

“I have a decent PC, i7-7700K, 32gb of ram, GPU is a GTX 1070.”

If you were to describe TSB in as few words as possible, what would they be? (10 words max!)

Favorite food and/or drink?

“I enjoy a good steak, but regular food would have to be any form of goulash over rice. Drink? Water normally, sweet tea if I’m feeling adventurous.”

If you were to pick the next interview to be published, who would it be, and why?

“Ambiguous, you’re up!”

What would you ask this person you want interviewed?

“Hows that man-purse treating you?”

Now Auntystatic had a question from her interview: “Hows the dog doing?”

“Dog is doing well, haha.”
